Mrs. Jannie Paulette McClure Dyer McGuoirk
Mrs. Jannie Paulette McClure Dyer McGuoirk, age 80 of Kesler Road, Carnesville, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026, at her residence.
A daughter of the late Herbert McClure and Annie Ruth Dickson McClure, she was born November 12, 1945, in Stephens County, Georgia, having lived in Hollywood, Georgia for most of her life, where she and her husband, Bobby Dyer, Sr. were well known in the community. She later moved to Carnesville. Georgia. She was employed with 441 Construction as Office Manager for a number of years. She enjoyed reading Christian books and listening to Christian music. She had a giving heart and loved meeting new people, and loved to cook, travel and visiting the mountains at Pigeon Forge.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Ray Dyer, Sr., by a son, Shannon Dyer and by a grandson, Dusty Dyer
Survivors include her daughters, Shalisha Wade of Carnesville and Paula Nichols of Toccoa; son, Bobby Ray Dyer, Jr.; grandchildren, Shannon Crawford (Brandy Callahan), Paulo Navarrete, Juan Navarrete, Sanson Navarrete, Ashley Dyer, Matthew Dyer, Scarlet Smith; great-grandsons, Bobby Crawford, Aaron Smith, Gabriel Pittman, Aj Pittman and Alexander Pittman; great-granddaughter, Evelyn Lela Dyer.
Funeral services will be Sunday, July 12, 2026, 2 p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend George Dean officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Chad Dyer, Austin Dyer, Kevin Dyer, Steward Dyer, Bryan Dyer and Alex Dyer.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 11, 2026, 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Cornelia, Georgia.
