Mrs. Frances Mitchell LeCroy
Mrs. Frances Mitchell LeCroy, age 82 of Yow Mill Road, Toccoa passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.
A daughter of the late James Mitchell, Marine Sheriff Grover and Thurmond Grover, she was born June 3, 1942, in Stephens County, Georgia where she had lived all her life. She was retired from the Stephens County School System as a cafeteria worker. She was a Charter Member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She loved spending time with her precious family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Chandler LeCroy.
Survivors include her husband of the home, Jackie LeCroy, her children and their spouses, Teresa and David Sauls of Lavonia, Larry and Christy LeCroy of Toccoa and Tammy and Dwayne Singletary of Toccoa; grandchildren and their spouses, Chris and Erin Rickman, Josh and Samantha Rickman, Jennifer and Cain Clayton, Ty and Kelsey Singletary, Aly and Titus Penland, Reed LeCroy, Harper LeCroy, Emerson LeCroy, Stephen and Nicki Sauls, Mark and Sarah Sauls, Jake and Chelsea Sauls, Jeremy and Athena Singletary and Roland and Heather Weckesser; a multitude of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 9, 2025, 2 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church with the Reverend Stacy Penland officiating. Family members will serve as pallbearers, Chris Rickman, Josh Rickman, Ty Singletary, Reed LeCroy, Cain Clayton and Titus Penland.
The family will receive friend at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1766, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 in memory of Mrs. Frances Mitchell LeCroy.
Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Frances Mitchell LeCroy.
