Mrs. Frances Lewallen Stiarwalt

Mrs. Frances Lewallen Stiarwalt, age 85 of Toccoa passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

A daughter of the late Dank Carlton Lewallen and Adele Smith Lewallen, she was born May 1, 1940, in Banks County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Stephens County, Georgia.  She retired from Ingles with 19 years of service. She was a member of North Trinity Baptist Church.  Her hobby was shopping.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Stiarwalt, sister, Marjorie Grubb and by three brothers, Haskell Lewallen, Fay Lewallen and Eugene Talmadge Lewallen.

She is survived by a daughter, and son-in-law, Debra Ann Galloway and husband Walter of Cornelia, Georgia; son, Leon Kimsey of Toccoa; grandchildren, James and Lisa Kimsey, Lee and Ashley Kimsey and Matthew and Chelsie Galloway; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Lorraine Gibson of Westminster, South Carolina; brother and sister-in-law, Grady and Phyllis Lewallen of Mount Airy, Georgia; a number of nieces and nephews; her best friend, Helen Skelton; her dog, Jenny.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 5, 2026, 2 p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Carl King and The Reverend Stephen Harris officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Grady Lewallen, Rodney Lewallen, James Kimsey, Lee Kimsey, Casey Kimsey and Dale Payne.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Frances Lewallen Stiarwalt.
