Mrs. Corinth Baker Dover

Mrs. Corinth Baker Dover, age 93 of Rock Quarry Road, Toccoa passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A daughter of the late Algernon and Anna Louise Smith Baker, she was born January 21, 1927 in Sparta, Georgia. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Toccoa. She was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed family, puzzling, reading and watching birds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Louis Dover in 1988, brothers, Algernon Baker, Jr. and Lyndsey Baker and sisters, Louise Baker Ramsey and Estelle Baker Crane.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James and Susan Dover of Gainesville, Georgia; daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Butch Cooper of Albany, Georgia and Jo and David McLendon of Baldwin, Georgia; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Baker of Marietta; a number of nieces an nephews.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 20, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. at Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend David McLendon officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until time to leave for the service.
