Mrs. Billie Sue Craig Cheek

Mrs. Billie Sue Craig Cheek, age 88, of Toccoa, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025 at her home.

Born November 15, 1936 in Red Hill, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Roy Little and Winnie Bell Craig.

She was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from Singer Sewing Plant.  Billie also worked at Shoney’s Inn for 30 years.

Family members include her granddaughter, Amanda Collins of Toccoa; great-grandchildren, Jaden Coley and Jasalyn Coley; sister, Patsy Wilbanks; brothers, William Craig, Talmadge Craig and Junior Craig; four great-great-grandchildren, Bonnie, Emma, Brandon, Jr., and Keegan, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Henry “Lonnie” Cheek; her daughter, Renee Cheek Collins; and four sisters.

Graveside Services will be held at two o’clock Thursday, October 2, 2025 at the Toccoa City Cemetery with Pastor Stan Crump officiating.

Burial will follow.
