Mrs. Bertha Louvenia “Vennie” Herring Stowe

Mrs. Bertha Louvenia “Vennie” Herring Stowe, age 82, of Eastanollee passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 in Cleveland, Ga.

A daughter of the late Lizzie Mae Herring Morrow, she was born August 30, 1937 in Clarke County, Ga. and lived most of her life in Eastanollee. Mrs. Stowe was a retired training instructor at Milliken, having served for many years. She was a member at Toms Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Ted Michael Stowe, by a sister, Peggy Morrow Craig, and by a brother, Albert Lindsay Morrow.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and April Stowe, Ricky (Tiffany) Stowe, and Michael Morgan all of Eastanollee, Ga., five grandchildren, Ashley Lewis, Matt Stowe, Zach Stowe, Hannah Stowe, and Lauren Stowe, great-grandchildren, Sara Wright, Colton Lewis, Bentley Lewis, and Bohdee Stowe, brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter Thomas Morrow and Martha Morrow of Clarke County, Ga. and William “Bill” Chandler Morrow of Danielsville, Ga., by a sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Dwayne Vanderkooi of Watkinsville, Ga., and by a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 11:30 A.M. at Toms Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Wayne Marcus officiating.
