Mr. William H. Good, IV
Mr. William H. Good, IV, age 56 of Addington Drive, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at his residence, surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer.
The son of William H. Good, III and Diane Paletto Good, he was born January 21, 1970, in Toccoa, Georgia where he lived all his life. He owned and operated Good’s Furniture. He served as Assistant Scout Master with Boy Scout Troup 217. He was a great teacher, leader and role model. He enjoyed many activities including going to the lake, gardening, hiking, camping, traveling, especially to the beach, and loved water and snow skiing. He also enjoyed fireworks and was a souvenir collector and could build anything with his hands. He was a creature of habit and a great friend to all. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carmen and Rose Paletto and Dr. William and Ruth Good and uncle, Chris Good.
He is survived by his parents, William H. Good, III and Diane Paletto Good both of Toccoa; son and daughter-in-law, Carson and Emily Good of Toccoa; significant other, Jessica Williams of Toccoa; sister, Michelle Martin of Toccoa; brother-in-law, Roger Martin of Cumming; nephews, Davis (Hannah) Martin of Toccoa and 2nd Lt. William Martin (Agrita Pontaga) of Cumming; future grandchild, Paisley Mae Good; future great-niece, Annie May Martin; his dogs, Scooby and Sadie; long-time best friend, Mike McCurry; and a number of aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Toccoa with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty, Mr. Rex Patterson, Mr. Mike McCurry and Mr. Roger Martin officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers and should assemble at the funeral home by 1:15 p.m. Carson Good, Cohan Williams, Russell Biggers, Will Martin, Davis Martin and Doug Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Scout Leaders Mitch Clary, Cooper Dalrymple, Hayden Kelley, John Johnson, William Tucker, Jim Simmons and members of the Scout Troup 217 and should meet at the church by 1:30 p.m.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday, June 29, 2026, 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boy Scout Troup 217, c/o First Baptist Church, 475 E. Tugalo Street, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 for future scouts in memory of William H. Good, IV.
