Mr. William Coe “Bud” Collins
Mr. William Coe “Bud” Collins, age 76, of Toccoa, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Stephens County Hospital.
Born February 16, 1945 in Toccoa, he was the son of the late William Bill and Sue Ella Coe Collins.
He was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from the City of Toccoa. William was a United States Army Veteran. Bud was witty, timeless, and above all, lovable. He loved fishing, being outside, and a good cup of coffee on the front porch.
Family members include his wife, Mary Towe Collins; daughters and a son-in-law, Wendy and William “Willie” Stephens and Robyn Collins all of Toccoa; grandchildren, Laura Fleming, Jake Stephens and Leah Ginn, and Christian Harris; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet and Troy Jordan of Toccoa and Carol Allen and Clyde Lee of Greenwood, SC; his very loved cat, P.K.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Madeline Kate Stephens; and his brother, Donald Collins.
Visitation will be held at the mortuary from 10 am – 12 pm Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
The family will have a private service and burial.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Christian Harris, Jake Stephens, Willie Stephens, Luke Deitz, Kevin Barrett, and Scott Collett.
