Mr. Roger Alan Ayers

Mr. Roger Alan Ayers, age 66 of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, Marietta, Georgia.

A son of William “Bill” and Louellen Sanders Ayers, he was born July 9, 1959, in Stephens County, Georgia, having lived in Tucker, Georgia in his younger years and attended Tucker High School.   He was employed as an Engineer with Jacobs Engineering Group and was a member of First Baptist Church Acworth.  He loved coin shooting with his dad, loved music and was a very good drummer.  He also enjoyed antiquing.  He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and papa. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Givens Ayers.

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Louellen Ayers of Toccoa; sons, Alex Ayers of Washington State and Christopher Ayers of Colorado; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam and Kevin Foley of Westminster, South Carolina, Kim and Alan Parham of Winder, Georgia and Gabby and Josh Gamber of Athens, Georgia; brother, Daniel Ayers of Cumming, Georgia; step-daughter, Emily (RJ) DeLefuentes of Acworth, Georgia; step-son, Justin Faulkner of Smyrna, Georgia; step-grandson, Caden DeLeFuentes; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 6, 2026, 11 a.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Paul Garrison officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Rusty Ayers, Logan Parham, Brady Parham, Travis Smith, Bobby Foley and Nick Foley.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Roger Alan Ayers .
