Mr. Michael Howard McGinn

Mr. Michael Howard McGinn, age 63 of Eastanollee entered into rest peacefully in his loving wife’s arms on Sunday, May 22, 2022.

A son of the late Weldon Mac McGinn, he was born September 29, 1958 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. In 1971, he played in the Boy’s Bronco Baseball League World Series.  He was a 1976 Honor Graduate of Arundel High School in Gambrills, Maryland and later attended Toccoa Falls College.  He was a loyal public servant for 20 years in Stephens County, having worked with Department of Motor Vehicles, 911 and the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office. He shared the love of Christ to others with his beautiful voice. He was a devoted husband, father, father-in-law, PaPa, brother, uncle, co-worker and friend.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Mitch McGinn.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Deborah Kay Taylor McGinn; sons daughters-in-love, Michael and Kimmi McGinn of Chelsea, Alabama and Joey and Kara McGinn of Columbus, Ohio; step-daughters and sons-in-love, Kourtney and Rocky Farrow of Carnesville, Georgia and Kesley “KKes” and Ryan Chitwood of Lavonia, Georgia; grandchildren, Jonas, Raegan “Bug”, Little Joey,  Rocco, Lu, Leena and Renley; sister and brother-in-law, Kariann and Brian LeMaster of Gerrards Town, West Virginia; sisters-in-love, Juanita Bolman, Tammy Andrews and Jan Crawford and their spouses.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, May 25, 2022, 2 o’clock p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with The Reverend David Sosebee, The Reverend Jerrell Beatty and Mr. Danny Yearwood officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office.

In lieu of flowers, a love offering may be given to the wife of the home, 34 Goose Way Road, Eastanollee, Georgia 30538 to help with medical expenses.

The family will be at their respective homes.
