Mr. John Walker Clark

Mr. John Walker Clark, age 87 of Jordan Road, Toccoa passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at his residence.

A son of the late Marcus Clark and Dora Hendrix Clark, he was born October 10, 1934 in Hart County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Toccoa.  He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.  He was employed with Tugalo Construction Company for a number of years and later retired from Ingles.  He was a member of Hollywood Church of God.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Annie Bell Clark; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Mark Garrett and Amy and Charles Hall both of Toccoa; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Brenda Clark and Robert and Cynthia Clark both of Toccoa; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, James and Alice Clark of Hartwell, Georgia; two sisters, Mary Cheshire and Dorothy Clark both of Hartwell, Georgia.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 13, 2022, 2 o’clock p.m. at The Pointe with The Reverend Ralph Goss and The Reverend Tony Banks officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, David Clark, Jr., Keaton Clark, Kayla Davis, Logan Hall, Dylan Hall and Ethan Hall.

The family will have a private visitation at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by the Georgia National Guard Honor Guard.
