Mr. Henry Rush Chambers

Mr. Henry Rush Chambers, age 83 of Toccoa, GA, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Henry was born May 23, 1943 in Fulton County, Georgia to John E. and Jewell Brooks Chambers.  He lived most of his life in Atlanta and moved to Toccoa in 2010 to make his home.  He retired from Auto Ventshade Company in Lawrenceville,  he was a Veteran of The U.S. Air Force having served in Vietnam and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a son Billy Chambers and a daughter-in-law Denise Chambers of the home, grand children, Amber Chambers and Danielle Chambers, two great grandchildren, Bentley and Lilly Chambers.

Graveside services will be 2 P.M. Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.

Military honors will be conducted by the local V.F.W. Post 4346 and the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard.
