Mr. Douglas Michael “Mike” Dooley

Mr. Douglas Michael “Mike” Dooley, age 68 of Seven Forks Road, Martin passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Pruitt Health Toccoa.

A son of the late C.R. and Pauline Stroud Dooley, he was born February 24, 1957, in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived most of his life, having lived in Myrtle Beach for 15 years.  He was married to the love of his life, Shirley, for 42 years. He owned and operated Dooley Construction for many years.  He enjoyed fishing, playing golf and watching the Atlanta Braves.  He enjoyed conversation with others and loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Shirley Frost Dooley; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Justina Dooley of Jefferson, Georgia; grandchildren, Amber Dooley of Elberton, Noller Dooley, Averleigh Dooley and Lorcan Dooley all of Jefferson; siblings, Charles Dooley of Toccoa; June and Jerry Ray, Judy and Russell Canady, Ann Hollobaugh and David Dooley. He will be lovingly treasured forever.

To honor his wishes, he will be cremated.  No visitation or service is planned.
