Mr. Dewey Wade Frasier

Mr. Dewey Wade Frasier, age 47 of Fieldcrest Drive, Eastanollee passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Barrow in Winder, Georgia.

 

A son of Tilda J. Coker and Frank Frasier, he was born December 7, 1972 in Forsyth County, Georgia having lived in the Red Hill Community part of his life before moving to Stephens County. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marines, having received numerous medals and ribbons during his years of service. He was a graduate of Franklin County High School and Lanier Technical College in Gainesville, owner operator of Design Fabrication and a member of the First Baptist Church of Hartwell.

 

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Tilda J. Coker and John Coker; father, Frank Frasier; wife of the home, Ann Looney Frasier; three daughters, Brittany Marie Loggins of Toccoa, Jacqueline Nicole Canup of Eastanollee and Summer Jean Hanlin of Westminster, South Carolina; two granddaughters and one grandson; brothers, Tommy Frasier and Frank Coker; sister, Lisa Coker; along with several other family members.

 

His wishes were to be cremated. The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.

 

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Due to the health and well-being of our community, social distancing must be observed. Masks are encouraged but not required.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Fisher House Foundation, 12300 Twinbrook Parkway, #410, Rockville, Maryland 20852 or Semper Fi America’s Fund, 825 College Blvd Ste 102-PMB 609, Oceanside, California 92057 in memory of Mr. Dewey Wade Frasier.
