Mr. Bobby David Sikes

Mr. Bobby David Sikes, age 88, of Toccoa, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025 surrounded by his children at his home.

Born November 17, 1936 in Scotland, GA, he was the son of the late W. S. and Mary Johns Sikes.

Family members include his daughter, Patti Asher (Kent); son, David Sikes (Christine); daughter-in-law, Barbara Sikes; son, Douglas Sikes; grandchildren, Kacy Bishop (Jonathan), Keith Asher (Melissa), Cari Asher, Nina Taylor (Matthew), Jessie Sikes and Mary Catherine Tyrell (Mike); and many great-grandchildren.

Mr. Sikes was a retired Instructor at Georgia Power.  He was a long-time member of 1st United Methodist Church of Eatonton and was a part-time Associate Pastor and Sunday School teacher.  He loved walking in the woods, and taking care of his wife, Nancy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Katherine Skelton Sikes; sister, Pauline Cooper; brother, Billy Sikes; son, Daniel Sikes; daughter-in-law, Pamela Sikes; and granddaughter, Katie Lancaster.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Eatonton, GA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Jerry Snell, 575 Rosedale Street, Toccoa, GA  30577.
