Mr. Benjamin Duffie Holcomb

Mr. Benjamin Duffie Holcomb, age 87, of Eastanollee, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

 Born April 14, 1939 in Toccoa, he was a son of the late Ben H. Holcomb and Clara Duncan Holcomb.  He retired from Norfolk Southern as a conductor and was of the Baptist faith.

 Family members include his daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and James Bray of Eastanollee; a sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Carnegie Hulsey of Toccoa; sisters-in-law, Mabel Holcomb, Eleanor Pilgirm, and Carolyn Hayes; niece, Diane Fountain; two special friends, Kelley Buckner of Toccoa and Cheryl Smith of Flowery Branch; his little friend and chihuahua, Lucy; and several other nieces and nephews.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Dunson Holcomb, a son, Keith Holcomb; and a brother, Wade Holcomb; and sisters, Faye Hughes, Jeanette Holcomb, and Theo Smith.

 The family will receive friends at Whitlock Mortuary from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

 Funeral services will be held at three o’clock Saturday, May 23, 2026 in the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary.

 Burial will follow in Roselane Cemetery.
