Marshalls in Toccoa set to open Soon

During the reports section of Monday night’s (July 27) meeting of the Toccoa City Commission, Commissioner Terry Carter spoke about a recent tour of the new Marshalls store on Big A Road.

“We had the privilege of several of us taking a tour of the new Marshalls that’s coming to town. They’re going to be opening up mid-August, so only a couple of weeks away. It’s a beautiful store. Their district manager/store manager was there to greet us, and I appreciated their hospitality. Milton Seabolt is the contractor. He and his company (Highlander + Design Build) built it out, so we appreciate him giving us the tour and setting that up with the folks with Marshalls.”

Commissioner Carter also shared information about Five Below, which is next door to Marshalls. 

“Milton Seabolt also showed us the store next door, Five Below, so that will be coming online soon. So, I appreciate everything that Milton does, and I’m hoping that he can develop more property in the community.”

The new Marshalls and Five Below are located in Towne Plaza near the Quality Foods and Ollie’s Bargain Outlet.

City and Chamber Representatives tour New Marshalls Store

Representatives from the City of Toccoa and the Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce received a sneak peek of the new Marshalls store during a tour of the facility on Monday, July 27.

The tour was hosted by Milton Seabolt, Director of Business Development for Highlander Design + Build, who oversaw the renovation and buildout of the new Marshalls store.  Seabolt guided City and Chamber representatives through the completed space, sharing details about the project from the initial planning stages through completion.  Members of the Marshalls management team were also on hand to welcome the group and answer questions about the new store.

The new Marshalls store, scheduled to open in mid-August, represents another exciting addition to the community.  The visit gave City and Chamber representatives an opportunity to see the completed interior, learn more about the new location, and welcome another quality retailer to Toccoa.
