The Stephens County Lady Indian basketball team will return to the court tonight to play for third place after losing in the region semi-finals.

Last night in Watkinsville, Stephens County fell to St. Pius, 52-41 in a Region 8-AAAA girls’ semi-final game.

The two teams traded the lead throughout the first two quarters. Tied at 22 at the half, the back and forth affair continued late into the third. However, St. Pius used strong interior play to slowly pull away for the win.
