Lady Indians Fall Short Vs. Habersham

The Stephens County Lady Indians fell short in a non-region game vs. rival Habersham Central 42-39 Tuesday night at the Currahee Arena.

The Lady Indians had chances late but could not get the key bucket to tie.

The Lady Indians, playing without center Renajah Verdell, have lost 4 of their last 5 games and now stand at 8-5 on the season.

Habersham Central improves to 9-2.

The Lady Indians will return to Currahee Arena to host Oconee County in a Region 8-AAA matchup on Friday. The game will be followed by the boys varsity game.

Both Indians teams are 0-1 in region play.
