Lady Indians defeat Oconee County, 7-1, in High School Softball

The Stephens County Lady Indians softball team ended their regular season with a big region win over Oconee County on the road last (Weds) night, 7 to 1.

The Lady Indians scored 4 runs in the fourth inning.

Laney McGee drove in a run with a single, followed by a double from Jasmine Lowery which brought in 3 more runs.

The Lady Indians scattered 14 hits, led by McGee and Elizabeth Leverett each with 3 hits.

Allie Huff was the winning pitcher allowing 8 hits, but only 1 run and striking out 7 over the seven innings.

Stephens County ends the regular season with an 11 & 13 record overall and 6 & 4 in region play.
