Lady Indians defeat Hart County in high school softball

The Stephens County Lady Indians took home a 6 to 5 victory over Hart County on Monday for Senior Night.

Aly Singletary was the winning pitcher for the Lady Indians.  She lasted seven innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out five.

Stephens County hit one home run on the day as Kasey Westmoreland had a homer in the fourth inning.

The Lady Indians tallied 12 hits. Laney McGee and Kasey Westmoreland each collected three hits to lead Stephens County.

The Lady Indians’ overall record is now 10 & 10.  They will wrap up the regular season with 2 road games—today (Weds) at Cedar Shoals and Friday at St. Pius.
