KTSCB meets Officers in charge of Litter Clean Up, hears about possible Indian Cemetery, and completion of Gazebo
During the Keep Toccoa-Stephens County Beautiful (KTSCB) meeting on Thursday, December 11, law enforcement officers in charge of litter clean up were introduced, a woman spoke about a possible Indian cemetery in Martin, and the completion of the gazebo project was announced, explains executive director James Addison.
The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office Litter Inmate Crew collected 215 bags on 16 roads in November and 155 bags on 15 roads so far in December.
The City of Toccoa has been working to clean warehouse property and remove old cars from back streets.
Repairs and the replacement of the roof on the gazebo at the Senior Center were completed last month.
Keep Toccoa-Stephens County Beautiful meets on the second Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. in the Toccoa City Hall Commission Room, unless otherwise specified.
