JV Lady Indians Improve to 2-0
The Stephens County JV Lady Indians basketball team won Wednesday night at home in a rematch with the Habersham Central JV 47-42.
Stephens County won at Habersham back on December 7th in a close game 39-38. Stephens County improves their record to 2-0.
Lanesia Verdell led the Lady Indians with 12 points, followed by Terynn Mitchell with 11, and Aleria Faulkner and A’nya Dupree with 7 each.
The Stephens County JV Lady Indians and Indians along with the Varsity girls and boys will all be in action this Saturday as they travel to North Oconee beginning at 1:00 P.M. with JV girl’s action. WNEG will broadcast the varsity girls’ and boys’ games with airtime beginning at 3:45 P.M. on Saturday afternoon.
