Indians to face Jackson County Panthers tonight in High School Football

The Stephens County Indians football team will be on the road tonight as they play in Jefferson against the Jackson County Panthers.  Kickoff will be at 7:30.

The Indians are coming off a shut-out victory over North Hall last Friday, 34 to 0, to even their record at 1 & 1.

The Panthers did not play last Friday, but, did win their season opener against West Hall on September 4th, 26 to 18.

The Indians and Panthers have not played each other since 2009, the only game Stephens County has lost in the 6 times the teams have met.

Last night on the Crunch Time radio program, Stephens County’s Defensive Coordinator, Thomas Flowers, says his defense will face a good Jackson County offense tonight.

93.1 FM & AM-630 WNEG will begin our coverage tonight with the Indian Road Show at 6:30, followed by Coach’s Corner at 7, and pre-game at 7:15.
