Indians Tennis Dominate All-Region Teams

The Stephens County Indians and Lady Indians tennis teams have had, and continue to have, a special year. The special season by both is reflected by the just announced Region-8 AAA All-Region team.

Lady Indians Coach Debbie Williams has been named the Region-8 AAA girls tennis coach of the year. Region-8 also announced the All-Region team which includes 1^st team All-Region singles: Madison Rogers and Gabbi Boyd, and 2^nd team All-Region singles-Ali Wilson.

Four Lady Indians also made All-Region in doubles: Kaylin Snyder, Tenley Boyd, Erin Terrell, and Abby Whitfield.

The Stephens County Lady Indians are in the sweet sixteen round of the state playoffs today at Murray County and are currently 15-3 on the season.

The Indians boys tennis team finished the season with a record of 13-6 and placed 4 players on the All-Region 2^nd team including Kenny Colwell who has been named All-Region in three sports in 2020-2021-Football, Basketball, and now Tennis. Also named Region-8 AAA All-Region 2^nd Team: Griffin Wilkinson, Kyle Watson, and Keagon Mealor.
