Indians Scrimmage Warriors Tonight

The Stephens County Indians will travel to Cleveland tonight  to play the White County Warriors in a pre-season football scrimmage game.

Admission will be $5 with kickoff tonight at 7:30. This will be the final game-type scrimmage before the Indians open the season Friday, August 17th, at Franklin County.

The format tonight will be similar to a real game with mostly varsity players in the 1st and 2nd quarters, then mainly J-V and ninth grade playing in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

New Indians Head Coach Wesley Tankersley says a lot of players should see action tonight and will help in preparations for the season opener at Franklin County.

93.1 FM & AM-630 WNEG will broadcast tonight’s pre-season scrimmage game at White County with airtime at 7:15.
