The Stephens County Indians jumped on visiting East Jackson early to take a 35-point halftime lead and roll to a 49-34 victory in the regular season finale Friday night at the Reservation.

Morris Perkins got things started for the Indians on a scoop and score from 30 yards and an early 7-0 lead. The Indians added two more scores in the 1st quarter-Dallas Hague threw a 10-yard halfback pass to Findley Ward for a touchdown, and after a Kymani Colbert fumble recovery inside the Eagles 5-yard line, Jasiah Wiley took it in from 1 yard for a 21-0 lead.

The Indians continued to roll in the 2nd quarter with Wiley going 40 yards on a screen pass that set up a Branson Stowe to Kevin Waldrup Jr. 26-yard touchdown pass.

East Jackson got on the board on a Drew Richardson to Brady Saunders touchdown pass, but the Indians would come back with two more scores before the half. A Perkins kickoff return set up a Stowe to Duke Collins 33-yard touchdown pass, and Stowe connected on a 3rd TD pass of the half connecting with Da’ Von Swinton on a 21-yard touchdown pass.
