Indians Head to East Jackson For Final Regular Season Game
The Stephens County Indians will be on the road tonight in high school football as they travel to the East Jackson Eagles for the final game of the regular season. If Stephens County wins, they will clinch a spot in the playoffs.
The Indians are 5 & 4 overall and 2 & 2 in Region 8-AA.
Stephens County won a close game at home last Friday against Hart County, 37 to 34. East Jackson comes into tonight’s game with an overall record of 4 & 5 and 1 & 3 in the region. The Eagles lost last Friday night to Prince Avenue Christian, 62 to 14.
Last night on the Crunch Time radio show, Indians Head J-V and Wide Receivers Coach, Greg McCall, said East Jackson has a good defensive line and a good mobile quarterback:
Coverage on 93.1 FM and AM 630 WNEG starts tonight with the Indian Road Show at 6:30, followed by Coach’s Corner at 7 and pre-game from the East Jackson stadium at 7:15.
In other Region 8-AA games tonight, Franklin County will travel to Hart County, and Hebron Christian will host Prince Avenue Christian.
In other games around the area this evening, Habersham Central will host Jackson County, Banks County will travel to Oglethorpe County, Madison County will play at East Forsyth, White County will be on the road at Johnson of Gainesville, Rabun County will host Elbert County, and Commerce will host Providence Christian.
