Indians Combine for No-Hitter in Season Opener

The Stephens County Indians Baseball team opened the baseball season on Wednesday night with a combined no-hitter, and 10-0 win over Cedar Shoals.

Cruz Mullinix, Ayden Garmon, and Nick Randall combined for the no-hitter.

The Indians scored six runs in the bottom of the first with Mullinix, Jacob Pruitt, Ian Rumsey, and Mason Roberts driving in runs.

The Indians had 11 hits in the game with Rumsey, and Carson Worley collecting multiple hits.

Stephens County will be at home again Friday when they host Elbert County at 5:30 P.M.

WNEG’s broadcast of Indians baseball begins Saturday when Stephens County will participate in a doubleheader at Habersham Central. The Indians are scheduled to face Gainesville at 2 P.M. and the Raiders at 5 P.M.

Habersham Central is scheduled to face Gainesville at 11 A.M.
