Incident At Airport Thursday

All injuries were minor after an incident at the Toccoa-Stephens County Airport Thursday night.
Stephens County Sheriff Randy Shirley said that a plane’s landing gear appeared to collapse Thursday night as it was coming into the airport, resulting in a hard landing.
It happened during the 6 p.m. hour Thursday.
Shirley said that all of the injuries were cuts and bruises and those injured were treated by Stephens County EMS on scene and released.
The Federal Aviation Administration was notified of the incident.
