Hope Center announces revised hours and services in wake of COVID-19

The Hope Center of Toccoa has announced revised hours and available services at the center.

Beginning today, March 25, The Hope Center will serve boxed breakfast and lunch meals at the door located at 158 N. Broad Street, at the corner of Whitman Street.

There will be no shower or laundry services available until further notice.

According to Hope Center Director Steve Paysen, beginning on Saturday, March 28, The Hope Center will serve only boxed lunches from 11 a.m. until 12 noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays until further notice.

The Hope Center Counseling Center will continue to see scheduled appointments.

Paysen says new patients can call 706-491-7064 to set up a tele-mental health appointment.

Additionally, Paysen says, effective immediately, the only donations accepted at The Hope Center will be food and financial support until further notice.
