Hilda Lorraine Wood Palmer

Hilda Lorraine Wood Palmer, age 67, of Toccoa, GA, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at her home.

 Born February 19, 1959 in Toccoa, GA to the late William Eugene Wood and Alma Jacqueline Collins.

 She was of the Baptist Faith and a full-time homemaker.

 She is survived by her husband, James Burrell; sons, Greg Ballenger, Robert Burrell, and Shade Palmer; daughters, Shelly Chaffin, Leeann B. Pierce (Arthur); sister, Sheila Pressley (Tim); grandchildren, Wyatt (Misty), Lilee, Elizabeth, Logan, Kaytlin, Will, Isaac, Isabella; great-grandchildren, Gracen, Colton, Kaycen; and several nieces and nephews.

 The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1pm – 2:45pm Saturday, March 28, 2026.

 Funeral services will be held at three o’clock Saturday, March 28, 2026 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Pastor Mike Petty officiating.

 Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

 The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Logan Burrell, Kline Pressley, Zane Pressley, Will Ballenger, Arthur Ramsey and Bo Barrett.
