Habitat for Humanity’s Women’s Build Project coming up

The Habitat for Humanity is hosting a night for Stephens County women to come together to raise funds and help build a new home for a woman and her family in Stephens County.

This Thursday, June 24, as part of Habitat for Humanity’s “Women Build” Project, women from Stephens County will meet at the First United Methodist Church at 6 p.m. for a home building workshop.

Whether you can drive nails, raise money or help provide lunch, you are needed.

This is your chance to give back, to empower other women, and support Habitat for Humanity and their mission to put God’s love into action.

Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

The Women Build for Habitat Project is sponsored by Toccoa Hardware, Adams’ Building Supply, Arbor Heights Tree Service, American Woodmark, Georgia Power Company, Jay-Marz Signs, and First Franklin.

Anyone wishing to make a donation to go towards Habitat for Humanity Build projects, you can sponsor a square foot for $70 by visiting toccoahabitat.org.
