Franklin County 11U All-Stars defeat Hart County 5-1, to force Deciding Game

The Franklin County 11U All-Star Baseball team stayed alive in the District 7 area tournament Thursday night, June 25, with a 5-1 win over previously undefeated Hart County.

Franklin County scored two runs in the first inning, one in the second, one in the third, and one in the fifth inning. Pitcher Deegan Anglin held Hart County scoreless until the fifth inning when Knox Bowers knocked in their only run. Emmett DeLozier finished out the game for the save. Ethen Minervino went all the way and took the loss for Hart County.

The win sets up the championship game Friday evening, June 26, at Doyle Street Park. 

The game will be broadcast on WNEG with air time at 6:45 p.m. and first pitch at 7 p.m.
