Franklin Co Clerk of Court Heather Vaughn Hill named Superior Court Clerk of the Year

Franklin County Clerk of Superior and Juvenile Court Heather Vaughn Hill has been named the Stetson F. Bennett Jr. Superior Court Clerk of the Year for 2024. At the 2025 Superior Court Clerks Spring Conference in April, Hill was presented with a plaque honoring her work by Hart County Superior Court Clerk Frankie Gray during the District 10 Awards Banquet.

The Stetson F. Bennett Jr. Superior Court Clerk of the Year award is an annual award presented by the Superior Court Clerks Association of Georgia to recognize outstanding Superior Court Clerks in the state.

The award was established in 1985 and is named in honor of Stetson F. Bennett Jr., a longtime Clerk of Court in Georgia.

Hill was elected Franklin County Superior Court Clerk in 2020, succeeding Missy Holbrook who retired.
