The Franklin Community Players announced Northeast Georgia’s Got Talent
The Franklin Community Players announced they are holding sign-ups for the new area talent competition, Northeast Georgia’s Got Talent. The show will have three categories, including voice, dance and variety. For the voice category only, there are two ages groups, 12 and under and 13 and up. The competition is open to solo, duet, group and family acts. A $200 grand prize is offered. The competition will take place at the Lavonia Cultural Center. The first contest is Saturday, January 19, 2019at 7:00 pm the second show is Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 7:00 pm. Finalist from the first two nights will face off in the finals on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 7:00 pm. Finalist are encouraged to prepare a different number for the March 16th show. People interested in participating can register by telephone at 706-491-9374 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, starting Thursday, December 27, 2018. There is a $10 entry free per act, due upon registration.
