CASA informational Session and Training

CASA informational Session and Training; At any given time there are 40+ children in foster care in Northeast Georgia who need an advocate to speak up for their needs and best interests. The Northeast Georgia Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program trains and support volunteer CASAs to be voices for these children. The CASA volunteer helps ensure that children who have been abused or neglected have all their physical, emotional and educational needs met and that they are returned to a safe, permanent home as soon as possible. Our next new CASA training class will begin at the end of January and we will have an information session on Monday, January 14th for anyone interested in learning more about CASA. Please call the CASA office at 706-886-1098 for details.
