Eastonallee Cannery ready to serve You

The Eastonallee Cannery reports that it has been going through some growing pains over the past couple of months, but it’s honestly been such a blessing because it has made our Cannery bigger and better than ever! 

We’ve implemented many upgrades, including NEW FREEZER CASES, so you don’t have to walk into the cold freezer anymore. We have one freezer case installed now with two more coming in the next couple of weeks.

 We have a new checkout system that will make ringing up your orders so much faster and more efficient!

We’ve met all the requirements and now have our Retail Sales License from the Department of Agriculture.

We’re still cutting up your farm animals every week. Give us a call if you have an animal you want to get on the schedule. Last week we processed a Buffalo! 

I posted our canning schedule in the pictures below. Y’all clean out your freezers, let’s get that stuffed canned before garden season comes in again! Fruit and vegetable canning can be done on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Meat canning can be done on Wednesdays. 

I have an awesome new full-time associate, Bobby Beck. He’s been in agriculture most of his life and is proving to be a huge help at our Cannery. Y’all come on in and meet him.

We made a ton of fresh PORK RINDS today in a lot of different flavors. They’re $3/bag.

I had to take my dry erase board down that had all of the prices on it to make room for our new freezers, but I’ll work on a new price board for you guys for next week. The prices are still going to be about the same that they were before so y’all can check back on one of the old price pictures to get a general idea. Prices will fluctuate as the market fluctuates. 

Eastanollee Cannery Growers Market

 We’re expanding our Growers Market this year to include homemade crafts, homemade canned goods (jams, jellies, etc) and baked goods, as long as you have the correct licensing to sell those goods. Y’all get ready! More information to come on a later post.
