Eastanollee couple arrested for trafficking meth

An Eastanollee couple has been arrested after investigators with the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office found drugs at their residence on Turner Circle.

According to Stephens County Sheriff Randy Shirley, on April 13, investigators with his office were called out to a theft on Wolfpit Road in Eastanollee.

Once on scene, investigators were shown surveillance footage that showed a female subject, identified as 50-year-old Sherry Jean Brock, of Eastanollee, at the residence.

Shirley says his investigators went to Brock’s residence at 100 Turner Circle in Eastanollee to speak with her; however, when they arrived at the residence, investigators could hear commotion coming from inside the home.

After several minutes of knocking, Brock’s boyfriend, 52-year-old Stephens Campbell, of Eastanollee, answered the door and allowed investigators in to speak with Brock.

According to Shirley, while inside the residence, investigators saw multiple plastic bags in plain sight on a table with one bag containing suspected methamphetamine.

Investigators were able to secure the residence and obtain a search warrant.

During the search, investigators located a large amount of methamphetamine, one sawed-off shotgun and a little over $4,200 in cash.

Shirley says his office had received information from multiple sources about Campbell and Brock selling methamphetamine from the residence.

Both Campbell and Brock were arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine.

Campbell also faces an additional charge for the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The pair remain in custody at the Stephens County Jail without bond.

Shirley adds that the investigation into the theft is ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.
