Early Voting begins next week in Stephens County

Early voting begins next week in Stephens County.

That’s according to Stephens County Registrar Eureka Gober.

She says all advance voting will be done at the Stephens County Registrar’s Office inside the County Government Annex Building.

Beginning on Monday, October 14, early voting will continue Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily through November 1.

Gober says in Stephens County, residents will cast ballots for a referendum calling for the continuation of the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST).

She adds that Toccoa residents will cast ballots for the Toccoa City Commission Post 2 race.

Vying for Post 2 is incumbent David Austin and Toccoa resident Inger Neal.

Gober says Absentee by mail ballots will start going out today, October 11.

The Stephens County Registrar’s Office is located at 12 West Tugalo Street.
