Early morning accident takes life of cyclist
A fatal accident, involving a bicycle and a motor vehicle, this morning has taken the life of a 51-year-old, South Carolina man, authorities reported this afternoon.
The wreck occurred Tuesday morning around 6:30 a.m. on Rock Creek Road, in Toccoa.
The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched along with the Georgia State Patrol Post 7 to the scene of the accident.
The bicyclist was approaching Crawford Circle when he was struck by a truck.
Dead at the scene was Billy Jordon, 51, of Toccoa
