DPH reports additional COVID-19 related death in Stephens County
The Georgia Department of Public Health is reporting another COVID-19 related death in Stephens County bringing that total to 31.
DPH is now reporting 922 positive cases of COVID-19 in Stephens County since the beginning of the global pandemic.
The latest report was released Sunday afternoon.
DPH is still reporting Habersham County with a total of 63 deaths, and now 1,444 total positive cases of the virus.
In other neighboring counties, Franklin County has had 657 cases and 11 deaths, Rabun County has a total of 308 cases and 7 deaths, Hart County has had 465 cases and 11 deaths, and Banks County has a total of 433 cases and now 6 deaths.
Across the state of Georgia, the Department of Public Health is reporting a total of 294,314 cases, of those, 26,369 have been hospitalized and 6,333 have died from complications of the virus.
