Crash on 365 at old rock Quarry Circle – avoid or use extreme caution

WNEG News just spoke with Stephens County sheriffs office officials who ask us to stress that motorists should avoid this area of roadway if possible, and if you must travel this direction… Please use extreme caution. There are lane disruptions in both directions and first responder personnel working the scene.

SCSO:

Update (7:02 p.m.): The southbound lane of Highway 365 at Old Rock Quarry Circle is open again for regular traffic flow.

The incident was turned over to Georgia State Patrol Troopers, and there were no severe injuries.

Please remember to use caution on the roadways, and stay safe!

Stephens County Sheriff’s Office deputies are assisting with a motor vehicle accident on Highway 365 at Old Rock Quarry Circle. Individuals have sustained minor injuries.

All southbound traffic toward Toccoa from Habersham County should use caution navigating through the roadway until further notice. The road is passable, but first responders are on scene working the incident.

We will update with further information when the road is clear.
