Couple Busted Trafficking Meth

In Franklin County, a Royston couple is charged with trafficking methamphetamine.

According to a press release from the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, on Wednesday, August 23rd, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and the ARDEO received information from the Hart County Sheriff’s Office and the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office that a suspect identified as 53-year old William Jerry Fain was trafficking methamphetamine in Franklin, Hart and Elbert Counties.

Franklin County authorities and Officers with the Georgia Department of Community Supervision conducted a search of Fain’s residence located at 90 Meadow Brook Drive, Royston.

There, deputies found 210 grams of methamphetamine, two digital scales with methamphetamine residue, and a methamphetamine pipe in the bathroom.

Total street value of the meth seized is $23,100.

Fain and his wife, 46-year old Angela Terri Fain were arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession and use of drug related objects.

The couple was taken to the Franklin County Detention Center.

Additionally, the Department of Family and Children’s Services was contacted regarding a six year old juvenile in the residence.
