Commissioners Talk About Christmas Fest, Commend Employee
At Monday’s Toccoa City Commission Meeting, Commissioners talked about the success for the 2024 ChristmasFest, held in downtown Toccoa last Friday December 6.
Commissioner Evan Hellenga, who was named Vice Mayor for 2025 at Monday’s meeting, said it was a wonderful event.
Commissioner Terry Carter, who was selected by the Commission as the Mayor for 2025, also commended the event and the Main Street Toccoa and Public Works staff that organized and hosted the event.
Mayor Gail Fry spoke about other holiday events in the community, including tomorrow’s Christmas parade.
Also at Monday’s meeting, City Manager Fredda Wheeler recognized City Wastewater Employee Jeff Camalli for his hard work and effort in obtaining certification as a Class II Wastewater Treatment System Operator.
