Coan Brings Home Another Gold

McKenzie Coan continues to have success in International competition.

Coan kicked off her third Paralympics by winning a Gold medal in the Women’s 400m Freestyle S7 at the Paralympic games in Tokyo on Sunday.

Coan won with a time of 5:05:84.

Coan has now won four gold medals and five overall. She will have more opportunity for gold as she competes in the 100 Free, 50 Free, and 100 Backstroke, and 50 Butterfly.

Coan, who was born in Toccoa and grew up in Clarksville, is the daughter of Dr. Marc and Teresa Coan. Dr. Coan is an internal medicine specialist at NGPG Toccoa Clinic.
