Closings, Cancellations, and Postponements

Toccoa-Stephens County Public Library closed today (Jan 10) and Saturday (Jan 11)


Stephens County Hospital’s Orthopedics Clinic, WorkWell Immediate Care, General Surgery Clinic, Primary Care and Internal Medicine Clinic and the Wound Care Center closed today (Jan 10)


All Stephens County Government Offices, Departments and Buildings closed today, Jan. 10, in an abundance of caution due to the forecasted inclement weather.

The Road Department will still be working to keep the roads clear. All County convenience sites will be closed, to reopen on Monday the 13th.

The City of Toccoa closed.

Stephens County State Court scheduled, originally scheduled for today, has been moved to 9 a.m on Wednesday, Jan. 15

WNEG News has confirmed that the Hope Center, at 158 South Broad Street in Toccoa, is open  as a warming center and remain open and operating with normal services through Saturday morning (subject to change based on weather conditions) for those in need of shelter for their safety.

Also, WNEG News would like to note that the Hope Center is in need of donations of warm hats (stocking caps) and winter gloves. Donations can be made at the Hope Center.

Jerry White’s Pharmacy closed– plan to re-open at 12 noon until 3 pm on
Saturday


Upward Basketball at Tom’s Creek Baptist Church cancelled Saturday.


Oconee Federal in Toccoa closed at both Big A Road and Doyle Street
downtown locations.


1st Franklin Financial closed today and Saturday.
