Churches invited to Sign Up for Softball League

The Stephens County Church League Softball is signing up teams, says one of the organizers, Kyle Johnson.

“We’ve tried to start a church softball league here in Stephens County. It’s been quite some time since the churches here were able to have a league. It’s probably been 15 plus years. So, we kind of organized a group there at Liberty Baptist, and we had a meeting, went over some rules, and things like that. We plan to start the league probably in the first or second week of September. Dues would need to be in by the 27th of August. Those dues are $600. We want it to be a true church league, you know, where you attend would be the team that we would want you to play for.
