Chamber hosting Town Hall Meeting on SPLOST

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Town Hall Meeting on the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax or SPLOST VIII on Monday, October 13. Chamber President Julie Paysen says this Town Hall Meeting serves to educate voters about SPLOST before they go to the polls on November 4.

SPLOST VIII is the continuation of the existing one-cent sales tax, it is not a new tax. 

The Town Hall Meeting is Monday, October 13, at 6 p.m. at the Historic Ritz Theatre.
