Chamber holds Meet and Greet for President-Elect Reavis

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce held a meet and greet for President-Elect Tessa Reavis at the Venue at the Star Theatre in Downtown Toccoa on Tuesday, May 5.

Cassandra Wilkins, the Chair of the Chamber’s Executive Board of Directors, is very happy with her selection.

After 11 years serving as Chamber President, Julie Paysen tendered her resignation in January, and her last day will be June 30.

Since April 6, Reavis has been training with Paysen.

Reavis is a native of Toccoa-Stephens County and an honor graduate of Stephens County High School.

Stephen Wallace, Vice Chair of the Chamber’s Executive Board, said that having someone local in that position will go a long way.

Past Chair Lisa Lawson feels Reavis will do a fabulous job.

Reavis holds a Bachelor of Science degree and an Entrepreneurship Certificate from the University of Georgia. She was grateful to everyone who came to the meet and greet to welcome her to the Chamber.

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce represents and supports businesses throughout the city and county.
